Are all packs tested/guaranteed to work in the OEM radio and OEM charger?Yes, with the disclaimer that on rare occasions the OEM may change specifications after the battery is developed at which time we react to resolve any potential issues as quickly as possible.
What steps are taken to assure the fit and performance are equivalent to or better than the OEM?
Extensive testing is performed with OEM equipment prior to offering the batteries for sale. At the conclusion of product development samples are sent to select end users for field testing.
Do you have outbound inspection protocol? Quality Assurance?
Yes, the factory is ISO certified with a QC Manager employed to check all production procedures. We use the highest quality materials such as Japanese cells (FDK, Sanyo, Panasonic) in most of our batteries, when a Japanese cell is not available (such as NiCD packs) we use high quality China cells from well regarded manufacturers such as Corun. We use flex or hard PCB where applicable whereas some competitors may use jump wiring. We use 2-4 layers PCB to prevent intermittent contact during transmission. 100% of our batteries are charged for minimum of 15 minutes prior to shipping. Well under 1% of our batteries are returned for warranty claims.
Lithium Battery Notice:
- Dangerous Goods fees will be applied to Air shipments of lithium batteries and will be reflected in shipping calculations
- Ground shipments of lithium batteries do not incur dangerous goods fees
- We cannot ship lithium batteries via Ground service to Alaska or Hawaii - select 2 Day or Priority Overnight for shipments of lithium batteries to Hawaii or Alaska
- Certain countries restrict international shipping of lithium batteries
